This poem is a primary source. We used it to get a better explanation of how Hannah felt at the time during the war. This poem shows a little bit of how brave she was. It shows how she had hope and would contiue to be courageous no matter what. It gives us a look at what Hannah did while in Israel too.

This poem is a primary source. It shows how Hannah loved her mother very much and how it must've been very hard for her when her mother was captured. They both stayed strong though and didn't give in. The poem shows that even when Hannah was away, her mother was always in her heart.

This photo is a primary source. It's a picture of Hannah Szenes in her uniform, before she parachutes into Yugoslavia. This picture shows how she kept up hope during the war and knew she was doing what was right, standing up for her people. It helped us in writing her legacy.
